Background and Goals
Viva Panettone, a bakery based in Quebec, specializes in producing artisanal Panettone, the beloved Italian sweet bread. They approached The Run Digital to design a website for their subsidiary, Nonna Grazia, with a dual focus: enticing individual customers (B2C) and appealing to wholesalers (B2B). The primary goal was to create a visually captivating and functional platform that showcased their product’s quality and facilitated seamless transactions.
Design and Features
The website was designed with a warm and inviting color palette of soothing green, white, and burnt sienna, reflecting the rustic Italian heritage of the product. Key features included:
- E-commerce functionality: A streamlined checkout system for direct consumer purchases.
- “Find A Retailer” page: Users can locate retail partners easily with filters by location.
These elements ensured an engaging and efficient user experience for both individual buyers and business clients.
Challenges and Solutions
While no major challenges were reported during development, careful attention was paid to ensure the website’s usability aligned with both consumer and wholesaler needs. The intuitive design eliminated potential barriers, providing a hassle-free browsing experience.
Results
The project successfully boosted Viva Panettone's online presence. Post-launch, the website drove significant growth in sales, with increased visibility leading to the company’s participation in the prestigious Panettone Championship 2024.
Conclusion
The collaboration with Viva Panettone showcases The Run Digital’s ability to blend aesthetic appeal with practical functionality. The project not only met but exceeded client expectations, setting a foundation for sustained growth in both consumer and wholesale markets.
